ISACA Curacao Conference 2019

The journey continues …

On September 25th and 26th, 2019 the ISACA Curaçao Chapter will organize its sixth yearly conference at the Central Bank of Curacao and Sint Maarten in Scharloo.

The future is now!

The business landscape as we know it is going through an extreme makeover as a result of rapid advances in technology. This digital transformation has resulted in stronger opportunities to transform and change existing business models, consumption patterns, socio-economic structures, legal and policy measures, organizational patterns and cultural barriers.

This year we aim to take our professional work force in Curacao to the next level to embrace the new opportunities that lie ahead and control the challenges that come with these changes. It is very hard for enterprises to make the correct decisions when applying new technologies. We will bring international experts to educate on the the latest and greatest developments.

International experts will educate you.

The goal of the conference is to:

  • Educate on the latest technologies, among others:Distributed Ledger Technology, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Warfare.
  • Promote the use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for managing Information and Cyber Security; and
  • Expand network and business contacts.

We are very grateful to our sponsors  Arcas Partners, IBM, Ictual, NetPro/Inova, Maduro & Curiel’s Bank, the Central bank of Curacao and Sint Maarten, IIA and ISACA International who enabled us to bring speakers from the United States, Italy, Aruba, Curacao and the Netherlands.

This year is going to be special

Our keynote speaker Kevin will tell us about blind-spots and how to tap into your decision making super powers. Kevin was in prison for 33 months for a crime he didn’t knowingly commit.
The Italian professor, Claudio Cilli, will teach us about Cyber Warfare, which is now becoming as important as conventional warfare. We will also have experts in robotics, machine learning, artificial Intelligence, distributed ledger technology and cyber security share their knowledge and experience.
Prior to the conference, we will have an Ethical hacking class on September 23rd  and 24th .
Post conference, on September 27th  our keynote speaker will conduct a full day session for exposing our blind spots and gain extreme clarity to create a more influential future.
On September 27th we will also have a parallel track from Robert Brzezinski who will provide a hands on training on ‘Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Cloud Security’.
